For those who were a part of it, the marathon ride will be
remembered for far more than the cycling.
They will remember the dozens of hosts who welcomed them so warmly into
their churches or homes and provided cool showers and delicious feasts, the
beautiful landscapes and sunrises in 11 states, the hard labor of working
beside homeowner families on Fuller Center projects in six cities, the
opportunity to ask for donations on behalf of the poor, the adventure of Steve Hale riding down from Louisville, and the chance to speak
to media, individuals, and congregations about this work and why we do it.
In short, they will long remember this joyous opportunity to
serve as ambassadors in the work of Jesus Christ as part of the growing Fuller Center
ministry.
This ride is over, but the adventure is only beginning. The riders head home and hope to continue
their efforts with The Fuller Center, and we have announced our intentions to
make this an annual event. Check back
for a more formal announcement of next year’s ride, and begin inviting your
friends to join you and us for what promises to be another incredible journey. While we do not yet have all the details
worked out, we can promise you this: it will certainly be an Adventure!
